(More customer reviews)Out of the box it does not shoot very far at all, kind of lame actually. My 18 yr old son modified it and it was VERY powerful. He put the regular nerf darts in it and it hurt to get hit. He shot me from 30+ feet away and it stung my arm, even leaving a red mark that was there the next day. The large darts that come with it shot really far as well although if you pumped it more than three times they flew so fast they weren't very accurate. He found the videos on youtube on how to modify it, but do it at your own risk, it could be dangerous for little kids or even big kids if someone got hit in the eye.
