As the picture shows, you get 4 different models in this package - the full-blown Saturn V, which ends up being over a foot high, a lunar rover about the size of a typical LEGO vehicle, a command module, and a lunar lander.
It comes with clear, complete instructions. Mom or Dad will want to help the first time with the stickers, but other than that, these are kid-friendly designs.
Fun? - My son has put these together and taken them apart many, many times.
Educational Value? - He also loves to reproduce the entire lunar mission - blasting off, jettisoning the stages, orbiting the moon, landing on the moon, driving around, docking, and finally re-entering the atmosphere.
Durability? - This is LEGO, folks. I don't know how you COULD break this, short of taking a welding torch to the pieces.
Highly recommended.
