(More customer reviews)If you have a Lego fan in the family, these base plates are essential purchases, since they serve as the foundation for just about any building project. We bought a pair in blue and green (indoor vs. outdoor was the idea), and they've been used for all manner of creations.
These plates measure 10" by 10" (or 32 studs by 32 studs), though larger sizes are available. They're relatively inexpensive (five bucks each is the suggested retail price), relatively easy to find, and they're a great gift that most Lego fans never have enough of.
