(More customer reviews)Fire Lord is a great product! I would certainly recommend Fire Lord to any Bionicle or Hero Factory fan like me. I own eight Bionicles -- Vastus, Kiina, Mata Nui, Phantoka Chirox, Vorox, Ackar, Mistika Tahu, Toa Inika Nuparu, and Pohatu and the Rockoh T3 -- and four Hero Factory -- Fire Lord, Von Nebula, Xplode, and Rotor. What I like about Fire Lord is the completely new, stronger pieces and the great looks.
One of the biggest problems with Bionicle is that the connectors in their joints fracture very easily. Almost all of the Bionicles that I own have hairline cracks in their joints that are nearly impossible to mend. Once they get cracks in their connectors, they cannot hold objects up for as long, or support weight as well as when they did not have cracks. This is a big problem for the Bionicle products, as I found that they develop these cracks very quickly. However, connectors for the Fire Lord are thicker. I have had Fire Lord since February, and none of his connectors have broken. Usually, by this time, a Bionicle would have at least two cracks, if not more.
Another great thing that I have found about the Fire Lord is his pieces. They are completely new as well. The Fire Lord's new snap-on armor allows me to re-decorate all the limbs of the Bionicles I build using the new Hero Factory pieces. In the original Bionicle sets, the lower part of the Bionicles' limbs are always one piece; you can hardly change them at all. However, Fire Lord, and any of the other new Hero Factory's snap-on armor can be applied to any of the limbs, or even the body.
The flames that leap off his armor are eye-catching. His orange, black, and red armor and color scheme are a perfect fit for his all-powerful, warlike attitude. Also, his helmet can change from shouting to growling --very cool!
Those are the three best things about Fire Lord. I hope LEGO company comes out with more of his kind. Fire Lord is one of the greatest Bionicles or Hero Factory that I own.
