(More customer reviews)An honest-to-goodness LEGOmaniac, my son was given this set for his eighth birthday. I actually think he has played more with this line (Aquaraiders) than he has with past sets (even Star Wars). This set was a little more challenging and model-like but offers older children with steady hands endless play. Certain pieces detach easily, like the crab claws, which may frustrate younger builders. Older kids will simply re-attach the appendages and play on.

Here comes the biggest Aqua Raiders submarine of all. Equipped for undersea adventures with cannons, harpoons, a detachable mini-sub and a launching aqua-missile, this aquatic explorer is the king of the depths - at least until it encounters the giant monster crab. Now it's a fight to the finish between submarine and savage sea beast. Better hope the crew doesn't end up like that old pirate skeleton and his treasure. 590 pieces.
