(More customer reviews)I bought this for my 3 year old to help him count down the days until Christmas. It was easy to set up but did take about 45 min with all the folding and fitting together boxes and toy pieces. The set comes with the backdrop playset scene you see in the picture and the Advent Calendar itself is a cardboard panel that can be hung from a wall or door. the cardboard boxes are folded together and fit into numbered slots on the calandar board. The set comes with 3 Playmobil action figures, a horse, a dog, and various accessories to set up a Knight's Duel. There are a LOT of really tiny pieces though so if you are buying this for a young child, keep that in mind.
My son loves waking up each morning to open a new box and we count the numbers that we have already opened. We bought the Polly Pocket Calendar for my niece (also age 3) and she loves it too.
