(More customer reviews)John is four and a half. In the past we've had some trouble with the very tiny interlocking pieces of Mega Blocs. The pieces on these are large enough that he only has to snap a few together and he's on his way to a pirate village, or dock. He has played with a portion of this set every day since I bought it. The tower piece is a major component for him, and from there he builds his pirate world. Wish more sets were like this.
