(More customer reviews)My 8 year old son loves Legos. He recently purchased this with his own money and was very disappointed to find out that it does not flip onto 2 wheels without using a ramp. The picture on the back of the box shows 2 steps: "rev motor forward 4x to activate" then it shows the truck on two wheels in step 2. What you don't really see on the box is the almost translucent yellow ramp between steps 1 and 2. The ramp is kind of mixed in with the lines which are supposed to make the car look like it is in motion. So it was very easy to miss the ramp. If you are considering purchasing this because the idea of it going onto two wheels sounds interesting, be aware that a ramp (not included in box) is necessary to acheive this. Otherwise, it is a normal Lego car with a friction motor.

It wouldn't be wise to cut off this guy! With just one pull back, the slick Side Rider leans to the side to ride on two wheels. No other racer can take corners like this one. Building set comes with 111 pieces.
