The larger, articulated one is sightly more delicate since it has the moving parts (in fact we make it a point not to take this particular dino outdoors), but is still pretty sturdy overall. Check prices at *the* major toy store before you buy. Regular price is $7.99 for this set. There are two others in the series that I've been able to find and they are the same price. I always check prices between Amazon and ToysRUs before buying because Amazon often has a better deal one you factor in shipping costs. Not this time, though.
