(More customer reviews)I really love this Lego set! We ordered this as a gift for our 4-1/2 year old son for Christmas. It has a good number of pieces and you are able to build quite a few objects without running out of pieces immediately. The set also came with multiple faces and even a pet, I think, so there was a lot of room for creativity. At first, my son wanted to try to build the images from the box, but he quickly moved away from that to making his own creations. I think Legos are great for stimulating the right & left brain and for having children think creatively and spatially. The only drawback on this set is that the box is carboard (but the lid is hard plastic and shaped like a big Lego). After opening this set, we puchased a large plastic bin to hold the Legos - it makes it a lot easier to look for specific pieces, too! This is appropriate for both boys and girls...and even their parents or grandparents!
