(More customer reviews)This set is part of Lego's 2009 City line. For playability and value for money ($[...]) the front-end loader deserves five stars. I also like the fact that it uses mostly common Lego pieces (rather than specialized shapes). It doesn't get five stars because when kids play with it, they have an easier time using the bucket when the faux hydraulic piston is not attached (you'll understand when you get the set). Still, it is a very attractive and useful toy with nice proportions. As a side tip, we've found that filling a low plastic bin with coarse corn meal makes a great indoor construction site; compared to sand, it is easier to clean up, it doesn't foul the toys, and it is simply not as dirty.
